يعد انهيار العضلات الناجم عن المجهود البدني (Exercise Induced Collapse - EIC) خللاً وراثياً في الجهاز العصبي، حيث يتوقف نقل الإشارات إلى العضلات مؤقتاً عند بذل مجهود بدني شاق أو الشعور بالإثارة. يؤدي هذا إلى فقدان الكلاب التي تبدو سليمة تماماً السيطرة على أرجلها الخلفية فجأة.
تقرن الأنف الوراثي (HNPK) هو مرض جلدي وراثي يؤدي إلى خلل في عملية التقرن الطبيعية لجلد الأنف، مما يسبب جفافاً شديداً وتشققاً في منطقة الأنف.
خلل التنسج المرفقي هو اضطراب نمو وراثي في مفصل المرفق، حيث لا تتطابق عظام المفصل الثلاثة بشكل دقيق. يؤدي هذا إلى احتكاك مزمن وتلف في الغضاريف والتهاب مفاصل مؤلم في الأطراف الأمامية.
تشير تشوهات العين إلى مجموعة من العيوب الخلقية التي تصيب هياكل العين المختلفة، مثل الشبكية أو العدسة أو القرنية.
خلع الرضفة (Patellaluxation) هو تشوه في مفصل الركبة حيث تنزلق عظمة الرضفة خارج مجراها الطبيعي. يؤدي هذا إلى إعاقة ميكانيكية لحركة الساق، وإذا تُرك دون علاج، فقد يؤدي إلى تآكل مؤلم في المفصل (التهاب المفاصل العظمي).
شكل وراثي من التقزم، حيث يؤدي خلل في جين SLC13A1 إلى نقص في الكبريتات الضرورية لنمو العظام والغضاريف بشكل سليم.
خلل التنسج الهيكلي 2 (SD2) هو اضطراب وراثي في نمو العظام يؤدي إلى شكل خفيف من التقزم غير المتناسب، حيث تكون الأطراف قصيرة بشكل أساسي.
