1. Mandatory tests for parents

2. Mating rules
When one parent has a borderline result, the other parent must meet specific criteria.
Patellar Luxation (PL)
Polygenisch — beide Elterntiere sollten das Ergebnis „PL 0–1“ erreichen. Tiere aus belasteten Linien sollten nicht für die Zucht eingesetzt werden.
LegacyLens luxation (PLL)
Autosomal rezessiv: Beide Elterntiere müssen den Test bestehen (Ergebnis „frei“). Zwei Träger sollten nicht verpaart werden.
LegacyElbow Dysplasia (ED)
Polygenisch — beide Elterntiere sollten das Ergebnis „ED 0“ erreichen. Tiere aus belasteten Linien sollten nicht für die Zucht eingesetzt werden.

4. HonestDog verification

- Certificate must show date, examining vet, and FCI/VDH logo
- Certificates older than 36 months are flagged as stale
